Who says we have to visit only serious attractions.
Priorities for this trip were:
1- Complete our map / have camped at least one night in each of the lor 48 states. As of this writing, only one remains: Iowa
2- Visit all lower-48 National Parks. On this trip we visited fourteen, leaving only 10 to go (Out of the 63, I am excluding 8 in Alaska, one in American Samoa, one in the Virgin Islands, and two more that are on islands.)
3- Visit any National Monuments that are close to our routing, as we pursue goals 1 and 2
4- include “oddities” along our route, just for fun. Carhenge is one such attraction.
