Today, we took another trail that leads to falls, this time at “Judge C.R. Magney State Park”, where our RV is parked. This one had quite a bit more elevation change, some was just sloping terrain, but also Claudette counted that one section that had over 125 steps, close to the falls, themselves. The first one was called upper falls, and the second one Devil’s Kettle. A fellow hiker showed us pictures from a year ago, which really makes it look like the water coming down the falls goes into a kettle shaped formation. However, due to high flow resulting from recent significant rainfall, that was not visible. Both falls were nevertheless very impressive, and it was a pleasant hike.
