Wedding anniversary on the road

Life goes on, even while on the road.  Birthdays and anniversaries are no exception.

Today is our 27th wedding anniversary (that’s when we made it official – we have been together since 1990 – 34 years ago)

We usually eat all our meals in our RV, but today as a treat, we had lunch at a local “hole in the wall” seafood restaurant which well deserved its 4.5 star and $$ rating in Google reviews. (we find their crowdsourced reviews quite reliable, particularly when a restaurant has 1000+ reviews. And that rating with $$ ($20-$30) is fairly rare, usually $$$ ($30-50) per person.

In any case, here we are on our anniversary

Yes – warm clothing – the temps had dropped below freezing overnight.  But it got better, and went up to sixty later in the day.

Happy Anniversary to US! I just love it that we get to do what we do. I’m so glad that Bernard found this “hole in the wall,” because it was really good.
And we got to sit outside by our firepit and eat ice cream. YES! Ice cream is still good when it’s cold.

A rare visit to a restaurant during our travels. Bernard saw they had great reviews and we stopped in for our anniversary lunch.
Here’s the menu, just in case you decide to stop by and try it out.
Our lunch. Let’s just say that dinner was VERY light. And yes, it was very good.
And for our anniversary dinner, we ate ice cream in front of out firepit.
It’s so good, right Bernard?
