Objective #1 for this RV trip was to complete our map of the contiguous 48 states in the USA. As of today, mission accomplished.
I talked about this before, but as a reminder we have two rules to affix a state sticker to our map:
1- We need to have slept at least one night in that state in our RV
2- It needs to be done in this RV (Our 35′ 2018 Montana 3121RL RV – stays in our first RV, a 2005 40′ Thor Grand Junction do not count)
Iowa is our 11th “new state” during this trip and completes our map
From here we keep moving southeast and re-enter Illinois which is a “previously visited” state.
Completion of visit-all-lower-48-states objective is not random, as our routing was chosen carefuly with the intention of achieving that goal. Goal met on day #98 of this 108-day trip.
