Desert Botanical Garden
Today, we visited Desert Botanical Garden. Unsurprisingly, this is by far the best botanical garden we ever visited dealing with desert-condition native plants. We were literally stunned by the quantity of visitors, on a Monday… It is well organized with a short central loop that provides a quick overview, and side loops that provide a more in-depth appreciation. We did all the side loops, as we were informed that all of them combined is only a 1 1/2 mile walk.
We broke for lunch (we had secured a 1:45 PM reservation) and following lunch we viewed their butterfly exhibit, as we had timed-out and needed to head out to the restaurant when we went by the enclosed area housing that exhibit
