Bay City State Park, MI

This is a beautiful park, and not very busy.  We learned that logging was the main business in the heyday of Bay City.  The campground is off Saginaw Bay, which adjoins Lake Huron.  Essentially  Michigan looks like a left-hand mitten, and Bay City is where the thumb meets the hand.
