I just came to our site and had not realized how long it has been seen we’ve last been here.
It’s been over a year and a half. WOW!
So much has changed since the last post.
Short story is that we are no longer living full time in our RV (although we do miss it somewhat), we’ve now purchased a house in Marshall, and we have a new grandson.
Talk about changes.
Here I was coming here just to do some updates but obviously, I’ll need to do more than that.
I won’t necessarily go back to where we left off but will say that we’ve been have the time of our lives. We love what we do, we are having fun (well most of the time. We do have our off moments, just like anyone else.) We love our house thanks to the help of my good friend Ursula Griessel who did an amazing job with the decorating. It would have taken us forever and would not have been as beautiful.
One of the reasons we decided to buy a house was in part because we missed our grandkids, we had a new one in our lives (and we didn’t want to miss out on being in Mason’s life), and well, we missed doing some of our crafts. I must confess though that we haven’t partaken in much of our hobbies yet.
It’s great to have a bath as that has been the ONE thing that I did miss the most. I took baths every single night for 2 months. I’ve slacked off a bit (but I do shower, just in case you are wondering).
The other advantage to having a home (other than family meals and get-togethers) is that I have a garden: beautiful flowers and veggies. And they are growing. I found my green thumb.
This is the catch up for now. I’ll post some photos soon so that I can share with you what we’ve done in our home.
PS. We took our RV out for an outing after a 9 month hiatus. Poor RV. It was very happy for the ride. We loved it too.
