Here we are in St-Augustine. It’s been a month and we love it.
Here are just a few of the things we’ve done while here:
- Visited St-Augustine
- Drove on the beach with our truck (a first for us – WooHoo)
- Drove up the coast near Georgia, then back to St-Augustine (just for fun)
- Drove to Daytona Beach and had lunch there (another “just for fun” drive)
- Continue to work on a daily basis
- Walk on the beach and watching the tide coming and going (from the window of the RV)
- Found a great, authentic, Farmer’s Market where we’re trying out new things like Swiss Chard (are you proud of us Stephanie)
- Cooking and baking great meals
We also had our very first Thanksgiving in the RV. It was both great and a bit sad. I missed the kids and grandkids but then we also started a new life.
We bought a tiny Christmas tree and a few decorations to put in our home on wheels. We are starting to think this is better than we imagined, even if we are away from everyone. Thank goodness their is Skype and Hangouts as well as our cellphones.
