Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin

We have been admirers of Frank Lloyd Wright’s architectural style, and have previously visited several properties that he designed.  Turns out that Taliesin is where he worked most of his life, not Chicago as we thought.  It is a huge property, and we took the 4-hour estate tour, with about half the time spent in the main residence, and the other half walking the property to see or visit some of the secondary buildings.  For this one pictures are more appropriate than words.

After our tour ended, we had lunch at the restaurant that is operated at the visitor center, and from our table, we had a spectacular view of the Wisconsin river.
