Nothing for the memory books today…
On a long trip, maintenance items need to be done. Today it was the truck oil change. We took time to explore downtown Mesa, as well as old town Scottsdale. We walked around the shops and had a coffee at a non-chain business.
The weather was wonderful and we got to have both lunch and dinner outside at our RV site.
Bernard spent some time writing down some details about our trip so that we don’t forget. We were stunned by how much we have done already…14 museums visited; 5 National Parks; 7 National Monuments and Bureau of Land Management properties, 2 couples who are friends visited.
We have stayed in 23 different campgrounds so far, and as of today, we have been 63 days on the road. During that time, we have towed the RV almost 4000 miles, and done an additional 2000 miles of local driving with the truck.
Planning pays off, and there have been no regrets. What we have are plenty of good memories and positive experiences.
