Our travel plans typically involve a 2 night stay in one place, so that we always have a free day where we do not have to travel. This segment was an exception as our trip to Florida involved 3 stops in 4 days, so two one-night stops. Thankfully, we are here for 12 days and 11 nights before we start driving west. We have been at this campground before, but this time there were no beach sites available. But we’re not complaining, as the beach is just a one minute walk from our site, with no public road to cross.

Let’s just say that driving and not staying long made it well worth it, just so we could take in the view and the weather. As soon as we parked the RV, we walked on the beach, enjoying the sun and the sounds. There’s this release that happens as soon as we see the ocean. It all just feels so good.
