Today we are at Newaygo state park, which is a primitive campground as in no hookups whatsoever.
We have been carrying our generator for the whole trip, so now I got to use it.
How quickly do we forget. It was quite humid, and I wanted to run the AC a bit to dehumidify the inside of the RV before bedtime. I was wondering why the generator was working so hard, and then I remembered that I hadn’t switched the hot water tank from electric (which we use when we have hookups) to propane (which we use when we don’t)
We didn’t want to run the generator while sleeping, so we also pulled out an electric fan to blow air on us while in bed, using a long electrical cord connecting to one of the power outlets that is still live via the inverter.
