The Pymatuning reservoir is on the state line of Pennsylvania and Ohio. Interestingly, there are three “Pymatuning State Park Campgrounds”, two in Pennsylvania, and one in Ohio. We stayed at the one in Ohio. We lucked out because the site I had booked based on availability and studying the map was I think the best site on the entire campground. As you can see, we had a superb view of the water from our site. Today, we set out to go canoeing. We ended up not doing that, since no canoes were available for rental. Motorized boats up to 20HP are allowed on the lake, and that is what we saw being used by people out fishing. We ended up driving the entire perimeter of the reservoir, which was interesting, but offered limited views of the reservoir for most of the drive.
