Most campgrounds in Houston had exorbitant ($100+) nighty rates. We found one at reasonable rates, which is on the same property as “Traders Village”, which is a bit of a flea market. The statistics are staggering. The merchant area is described as 100+ acres. They state that on a typical day, there are 1000+ merchants. I don’t doubt it, as we certainly got our daily steps target achieved walking through all of it. The campground on property is quite a large, and so is the high school across the street, yet on Google Maps, both look relatively small compared to the area that has the merchant stalls
