Friends and family,
Another year has gone by!
During the first few months, our focus was mainly on the renovations of the house we had purchased in December 2013. We kept living in our RV while the renovations were happening, and on March 3rd, we finally slept our first night inside our new home!
After having lived full time in our RV for 18 consecutive months, we cut back big time on using it, going out only twice for 3 day weekends.
We did 2 trips to Canada to visit family (May and October) and one to California to visit Stephanie & Luis (November.) We also took some proper vacation time: 4 days in Cancun in April, and 2 weeks in Orlando in August.
We had plenty of opportunities throughout the year to see our children and grandchildren, and feel very proud of all of them!
The year ends with some significant change in the air. Bernard’s work at BT ended on October 17th. He is actively searching for his next opportunity. Ideally, he would like to work for another 5 years before calling himself retired.
We both keep a positive outlook and strongly believe that all will be well! We are particularly excited about the outlook for 2015! Both Julie and Stephanie are pregnant, and moreover, Stephanie is expecting identical twins!!!
